JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction directing the respondent authority to decide pending Revision Application filed by the petitioner under the provisions of Section 27(A) of the Bombay Police Act.
2. Mr.
Alkesh Shah, learned AGP appears on advance copy. Mr. Shah tenders a copy of the fax message dated 18.01.2012, whereby it is indicated that the concerned authority shall decide the Revision Application within a period of 20 days. The said photocopy of the said fax message is taken on record.
3. In view of the above development, Mr. A.S. Supehia, learned advocate for the petitioner does not press this petition on merits. The concerned authority is hereby directed to decide and dispose of the pending Revision Application filed by the petitioner as per the statement made and in no case, latest by 10.2.2012.
4. With the above observations, the petition does not survive and is disposed of as withdrawn. No costs.
