The petitioner, who is one of the defendants in Original Suit No. 1010/2002 has filed the instant petition seeking a direction to the trial Court to decide the suit, expeditiously, preferably within a time stipulated by this Court.
Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the pendency of the suit since the year 2002, is causing irreparable injury and harassment to the petitioner.
Having regard to the facts of the case and the submissions, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the trial Court to make all endeavour to decide the suit, expeditiously, without granting unnecessary adjournments.
