Heard learned counsel for the petitioner-appellant.
The writ petition of the petitioner for the quashing of the order dated 15.02.2012 annexure-1 to the writ petition has been dismissed on the ground of delay and latches.
The writ petition for quashing of the above order was filed in the year 2018 that is almost after six years of the passing of the order impugned.
The submission of learned counsel for the petitioner- appellant that he had been representing against the aforesaid order and therefore, the delay was duly explained.
The filing of the representation which is non statutory remedy would not in any way extend the limitation for getting the order quashed.
In view of above if the learned Single Judge has refused to exercise discretionary jurisdiction it cannot be faulted with so as to permit any interference in appeal.
The appeal is devoid of merit and is dismissed.
