Section 378 of Cr.P.C., to call for the records in C.C.No.172 of 2012 relating to the judgement dated 27.12.2012 passed by the Judicial Magistrate(Fast Track Court), Kovilpatti and to set aside the judgement of acquittal on the appeallant/accused.
These Criminal Appeals have been filed against the orders of acquittal.
2.After amendment to
Section 372 of Cr.P.C., Criminal Appeal against the order of acquittal is not maintainable before this Court.
3.Hence, these Criminal Appeals are rejected at SR stage itself. It is always open to the appellant to file an appeal before the Sessions Court concerned, if he is so advised. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions at SR stage were also rejected. The Registry is directed to return the papers to the Petitioner.
