JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Civil Revision Petition,to direct the learned Subordinate Judge, Uthamapalayam, to dispose of the case in HMOP.No.119 of 2015, within the stipulated period of time.
2. The revision petitioner, who is the husband filed HMOP. No.119 of 2015, on the file of Sub Court, Uthamapalayam, against the respondent, wife, for divorce, on the ground of cruelty. The respondent, wife filed counter statement on 20.04.2016 and thereafter, HMOP was posted for enquiry on 24.04.2016, from that date onwards the said HMOP is pending without any progress.
3. In the circumstances, the petitioner has come out with the present revision.
4. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.
5. Taking into consideration of the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, it may be expedient to issue a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge, Uthamapalayam. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed and the learned Subordinate Judge, Uthamapalayam is directed to dispose of HMOP.No.119 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than 31st July 2017. No costs.
