Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(I) Issue order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Machhali Shahar District Jaunpur to decide the suit no. T201814360303659 of 2015 Shyam Narayan and others versus Bhola and others within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
It is stated that the suit under Section 209 of the U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, filed in the year 2015 has not been decided till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 5/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Machhali Shahar District Jaunpur to decide the suit as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
