Petitioner was initially engaged on temporary basis as Seasonal Collection Peon and has been regularized in the year 2017. His grievance is that that benefits of regularization have been granted to junior persons much prior in point of time, and there is no justification as to why such benefits have been granted to petitioner only in 2017. In essence, petitioner is seeking parity with his juniors in the matter of grant of benefits of regularization.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner's grievance shall be examined by the authority competent, in accordance with law, at the first instance.
In the facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach respondent no.2 in respect of his grievance, noticed above, alongwith certified copy of this order, annexing all materials in support of his plea that persons who were junior to him in the seniority list have been regularized on previous date, within a period of two weeks from today. In case such a claim is raised, the same shall be examined by the authority concerned and appropriate order would be passed, in accordance with law, within a further period of two months thereafter.
