JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioners, alleging that they have been falsely implicated by the respondent for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 494, 294(b) and 506(i) IPC and Sections 3(x) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, seek a direction to the learned Sessions Judge, Vellore (Special Court for SC & ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act Cases) to consider and dispose of their bail application that will be filed by them under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. on the same day of their surrender before him in connection with Crime No. 12 of 2016 on the file of the respondent. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
3. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for and taking note of the fact that the petitioners are prepared to surrender before the learned Sessions Judge, Vellore (Special Court for SC & ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act Cases), there shall be a direction to the learned Sessions Judge, Vellore (Special Court for SC & ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act Cases) to consider the bail application to be submitted by the petitioners along with their surrender before that Court, on the same day on merits and pass appropriate orders.
4. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
