Learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent Board submitted on instructions that, the petitioners had approached the authorities on 31.03.2014 requesting to permit payment of arrears of penalty under the One Time Settlement Scheme, and on the basis of such request the amount was collected along with reduced rate of interest at 6%. Balance amount under the Scheme was remitted on 31.03.2014 as per Receipt No.845235. It is submitted that no further arrears is outstanding from the petitioners, with respect to the impugned penalty. The above submission is recorded and the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
