Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Anjani Kumar Mishra holding brief of Sri Pranjal Mehrotra, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.6 and learned Standing Counsel appearing for State respondents.
By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has raised a grievance that respondents No.5 and 6 are constructing over bridge and road on the land of the petitioners whereas alternative land nearby is available. It is submitted that for the construction of bridge and road, entire land of the petitioners is being used without any compensation being paid to them.
It is to be noted that construction of bridge and road is in larger public interest.All that the petitioners are entitled, if he has clear title over the land, is compensation.
The writ petition is disposed of with the observations that the authorities concerned may into the matter and if the petitioners have clear title over the land in question, they would be entitled to compensation in accordance with law.
