JUDGMENT / ORDER

The plaintiffs in O.S.No.580 of 1995 on the file of District Munsif Court, Perambalur have filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the Trial Court to dispose of the suit within a time frame.
2. The plaintiffs filed the suit in O.S.No.580 of 1995 for partition. The defendants filed their written statement and are contesting the suit.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioners submitted that though the suit was filed in the year 1995, even after a lapse of 22 years, the suit is kept pending.
4. It is also brought to the notice of this court that this Court, by order dated 20.04.2012, in CRP (PD) No.1657 of 2012, directed the Trial Court to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.580 of 1995, by the end of July 2012. In spite of the said order, the suit has not yet been disposed of.
5. In these circumstances, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the District Munsif Court, Perambalur to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.580 of 1995, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. .
