The Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to direct the learned Rent Control Appellate Authority to dispose of the RCA No.199 of 2016 filed before the VII Court of Small Causes, Chennai within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
For petitioner : Mr.Rishi Ahwa for M/s.SP.Arthi ORDER According to the revision petitioner / landlord, the respondent / tenant has filed an appeal in RCA.No.199 of 2016 against the order of eviction passed in RCOP.No.1469 of 2014 and the appeal is pending before the VIII Small Causes Court, Chennai. Hence, the revision petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition before this Court for the early disposal of the above RCA.
2. Considering that the revision petitioner, who is a senior citizen and also aged about 86 years, the Rent Control Appellate Authority is directed to dispose of the RCA.No.199 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible.
3. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with above direction. No costs.
