1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of petitioner.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:
“(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing the respondents not to interfere in peaceful working of the petitioner as Lecturer in Agriculture in Kakori Shahid Inter College, Jalalabad, District-Shahjahanpur by any means and pay him salary admissible to the post of lecturer regularly month to month alongwith all kinds of emoluments and arrears since 15.8.1998 regularising his services as Lecturer.
(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing the respondents not to give the joining to Sri Ram Palat/respondent no. 3 against the post in question and if he has already joined he be relieved from the Institution in question.
(iii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 4 to allot another Institution in favour of the respondent no. 3 as against the post which has been allotted in favour of the respondent no. 3 the petitioner is already and admittedly working since 15.8.1998.”
3. However, I have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioner is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
