Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for State - respondents.
By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuing a writ of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 and 3 to decide the applications dated 3.4.2018, 5.6.2018, 11.6.2018, 8.7.2018 and 4.10.2018 with regard to Arazi No. 2484 measuring .8700 hectare situated in village Lalganj, Mauja Sonbarasha Tehsil Bariya district Ballia, expeditiously.
No useful purpose will be served in keeping the writ petition pending. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 and 3 , to decide the applications dated 3.4.2018, 5.6.2018, 11.6.2018, 8.7.2018 and 4.10.2018 with regard to Arazi No. 2484 measuring .8700 hectare situated in village Lalganj, Mauja Sonbarasha Tehsil Bariya district Ballia, in accordance with law, within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merits.
