JUDGMENT / ORDER

The Hon’ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy Writ Petition No.38575 of 2014 Dated 16.12.2014 Between:
Smt.Rama Devi And The State of A.P., rep. by its Prl.Secretary Civil Supplies Dept., Hyderabad and 2 others.
…Petitioner …Respondents Counsel for the petitioner: Mr.M.Hemalatha Counsel for the respondents: AGP for Civil Supplies (AP) The Court made the following:
Order:
This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to suspend the proceeding in Rc.No.2659/2014/B, dated 25-08-2014, whereby respondent No.2 has suspended the petitioner’s authorization relating to fair price shop No.22 of Edurudona Village, N.P.Kunta Mandal, Anantapur District, while issuing show cause notice.
In her affidavit, the petitioner has expressed the grievance that though the impugned proceeding was issued more than 3½ months back, enquiry has not been completed and final order has not yet been passed.
Considering the fact that the impugned order was passed as far back as 25-08-2014, I find it inappropriate to adjudicate on the validity or otherwise of the impugned order. However, respondent No.2 cannot keep the proceedings pending for unduly long time. Therefore, respondent No.2 is directed to hold a detailed enquiry and pass a final order within one month from the date of receipt of this order.
Subject to the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.48302 of 2014, filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
(C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy, J) Dt: 16th December, 2014
