The petitioner, in essence, is seeking enforcement of a direction issued by this Court on 20.02.2013 passed in Writ A No. 20545 of 2003. Grievance is that in respect of certain periods covered by the orders of this Court, the authorities have not released the salary payable to the petitioner.
It is contended that special filed by the respondents has already been dismissed.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, noticed above, this Court finds that the petitioner – applicant had preferred a contempt petition, which was got withdrawn on 28.05.2018. In the facts and circumstances, it would be appropriate for the petitioner – applicant to press his contempt petition. A fresh petition, in respect of cause already covered by an earlier order of the writ court, would not lie.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
