This writ petition has been filed for the expeditious decision of the suit which was filed in the year 1997 wherein issues were framed on 4.1.2007.
The petitioner-defendant submits that because of the delaying tactics of the plaintiffs, the suit has proceeded at a very slow pace.
Under such circumstances, it is directed that the Suit may now be heard on a day-to-day basis and be decided expeditiously and preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. Adjournment shall be granted only under very pressing circumstances and that too after imposing heavy costs on the party seeking adjourment.
The writ petition is disposed of.
