Heard Sri V.C. Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Vinayak Nath Singh holding brief of Sri Kaushalendra Nath Singh, learned counsel for the respondent no.2 and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
The petitioners claimed themselves to be petty street vendors for selling food items and have been granted license under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 from 30.6.2018 to 29.6.2019 at Sector 60 NOIDA. The petitioners now claimed that they may be allotted a place in the vending zone at Sector 66, Zone 4, NOIDA for establishing their petty stalls.
Learned ounsel appearing for the NOIDA submits that the petitioners in the garb of license granted under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 are claiming allotment of place in the vending zones, which is not possible. However, there has been created some vending zones, but applications have not yet been invited.
As and when the applications are invited and the petitioners are found eligible, their claim shall be considered in accordance with law by the Chief Executive Officer, NOIDA-respondent no. 2.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Order Date :- 29.11.2018 Lbm/-
