Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Government Advocate. Gone through the writ petition.
The present writ petition has been filed against lodging of First Information Report relating to case crime no. 3339 of 2009 under Section 494 & 498-A IPC registered at Police Station Kotwali Nagar Sadar, district Sultanpur and another case crime no. 107 of 2010 under Sections 494, 467, 468, 419 & 420 IPC of Police Station Chanda district Sultanpur.
We have gone through the contents of both the First Information Reports. Since the allegations made in the First Information Reports disclose commission of cognizable offence, as such, the same cannot be quashed.
The writ petition is misconceived and is accordingly dismissed.
