This contempt petition alleges willful disobedience of the judgment and order dated 25th July, 2011 passed in Writ Petition No.41057 of 2011 by which the writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the Director of Agriculture, Lucknow to decide the representation filed by the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of filing of the certified copy of the order.
Notice was issued to the opposite party.
Sri K.R. Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the opposite party has placed before the Court the order dated 6th January, 2012 by which the representation has been decided and a copy of this order has also been served upon the learned counsel for the petitioner. The said order shall be kept on record.
It cannot, therefore, be said that there is willful disobedience of the judgment and order of the Court.
The contempt petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
