Heard learned counsel for the applicant and Shri P.K. Pandey, learned Addl. Chief Standing Counsel.
The applicant is before this Court against the wilful defiance of the order dated 27.7.2018 passed in Writ Petition No.15730 of 2018 (Ram Singh v. State of U.P. & Anr.).
In response to the order dated 5.8.2019, learned Addl. Chief Standing Counsel has produced the instruction dated 22.8.2019 sent by the Under Secretary indicating therein that as the matter relates to policy decision of the State Government and the same is to be approved by the competent authority i.e. Principal Secretary, Ayush Department, who is on medical leave from 17.8.2019 to 26.8.2019 and as such some reasonable time may be accorded so that the writ Court order in question may be complied with in letter and spirit.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the contempt application stands disposed of giving one more opportunity to the opposite party to comply with the writ Court order in question in letter and spirit preferably within six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. The notices, if any, stand discharged.
