The writ petition has been filed for issue of mandamus directing the Superintendent of Police, Agra and Station House Officer, P.S. Sadar Bazar, Distt. Agra, respondents - 2 and 3 to make fair and proper investigation in Case Crime No. 575 of 2018, under Section 420, 467, 468, 471, 120 B, 34 IPC, P.S. Sadar Bazar, Distt. Agra and submission of police report under Section 173 (2) Cr P C as early as possible.
The counsel for the petitioner submits that the FIR was lodged on 12.5.2018 but the police is not proceeding in the matter.
In the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with direction that Superintendent of Police, Agra and Station House Officer/ Investigating Officer, P.S. Sadar Bazar, Distt. Agra, respondents - 2 and 3 shall ensure fair and proper investigation of Case Crime No. 575 of 2018, under Section 420, 467, 468, 471, 120 B, 34 IPC, P.S. Sadar Bazar, Distt.
Agra and submission of police report under Section 173 (2) Cr P C as early as possible, preferably within a period of four months.
