Hon'ble Anjani Kumar Mishra,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner at length.
The writ petition is directed against an order whereby a reference for correcting the valuation of certain chaks has been accepted by the Deputy Director of Consolidation on 05.12.2017.
The name of the petitioner is not to be found in the correction table and a despite pointed query by the Court, counsel for the petitioner is not able to establish as to how he is effected or in any manner concerned with the modification that has been made through the reference aforesaid.
Under the circumstances, the writ petition is by strangers who has no concern with the matter and therefore no locus to maintain the petition. Hence, the writ petition is also sheer abuse of the process of the court.
This writ petition is therefore dismissed with cost of Rs. 2,500/- to be deposited within a month, failing which the same may be recovered as arrears of land revenue from the petitioner.
