JUDGMENT / ORDER

Hon'ble Ajai Kumar Srivastava-I,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri H.P. Srivastava, learned Addl CSC for the State.
For the nature of relief prayed for in the present writ petition, the petitioners have an alternative and efficacious remedy under Section 26 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006.
It is open to the petitioners to approach the competent authority by making a formal application impleading the concerned Gram Panchayat as a party so that all the necessary parties are represented for a conclusive proceeding.
it is expected that the competent authority shall proceed with promptitude if an application as permissible under law is filed by the petitioners within a period of two weeks from today.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
