Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2, i.e. District Magistrate, Allahabad, to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 15.03.2019, pending before him, within stipulated time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court (Annexure No.3 to this writ petition)."
Perusal of the representation made reveals that the petitioner seeks implementation of an order passed by the Consolidation authorities by means of the representation made to the District Magistrate, Prayagraj.
In my considered opinion, the representation made is entirely misconceived.
The remedy available to the petitioner is either by means of proceedings under Section 38 or the Revenue Code, 2006 for correction of papers or by means of proceedings under Rule 109A of the U.P. Consolidation of Holding Rules.
In case, the petitioner is so advised, he may avail such of the alternative remedies available to him for redressal of his grievance.
Subject to the above, this writ petition stands disposed of.
