Ram Pratap Singh vs Union Of India Thr.Secy.Ministry ...

High Court Of Judicature at Allahabad|07 March, 2014

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Hon'ble Mahendra Dayal,J.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
In pursuance of the advertisement, applications have been invited for the dealership of Rajiv Gandhi Gramin L.P.G. Vitrak (RGGLV) at Patna Mallipur District Srawasti with the direction that statement of account has also to be annexed with the said application. The minimum amount of Rs. 2 lacs can be credited on the date of moving the application.
The petitioner was selected for dealership of Rajiv Gandhi Gramin L.P.G. Vitrak (RGGLV) at Patna Mallipur District Srawasti, but at the time of scrutiny of the statement of account of the petitioner, so submitted by the petitioner with an application, it was found that the petitioner had deposited Rs. 3.92 thousand, but on the same date he has also withdrawn the Rs. 3,80,000/-, leaving behind the balance of Rs. 12,916/-, and as such the opposite parties have cancelled the application of the petitioner with the observation that the sufficient required fund was not available in the account on the date of an application.
Being aggrieved by the inaction of the opposite parties the instant writ petition has been filed.
On perusal of the records, we find no illegal infirmity in the order passed by the opposite parties for cancellation of the application of the petitioner.
Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed.
