The solitary grievance of the petitioner appears to be that his restoration application in case no. 585/394, filed under Section 34/35 of U.P. Land Revenue Act, 1901, has remained pending before the respondent no. 2 since 03.05.2016.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping the present petition pending or calling for a counter affidavit.
Without entering into merits of this case, this writ petition is disposed of with the observation that in case the petitioner files a copy of this order before the respondent no. 2, the said authority shall proceed to decide the mutation application pending before him since 03.05.2016 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this order before him, provided the petitioner does not seek any adjournment during that period and shall cooperate.
