Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri P.K.Chauhan, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondent.
Petitioner is before this Court with a request commanding the second respondent to decide the Appeal No. C201801000001343 of 2018 (Ram Naresh Vs. State of U.P.) expeditiously.
Learned Standing Counsel fairly states that in case the aforementioned appeal is still pending and has not been decided, the same will be considered and decided expeditiously.
In the facts and circumstances, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the second respondent to consider and decide the aforesaid appeal by a speaking order as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him without according any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties but certainly after affording opportunity to all stakeholders in the matter.
