Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners, who were appointed on the post of Lekhpal, are working and discharging their duties in Disrict-Azamgarh and in different Tehsils. They have completed probation period and also completed training successfully, but salary has not been paid to them in spite of the repeated request and reminder. As no heed paid, so they approached this Court by filing the present writ petition with the following main prayer :-
"To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to pay the salary to all the petitioners for the period they were relieved for training and re-joined their duties (except the period of their training since the salary for the same have been paid to them)."
After hearing learned counsel for the parties and going through the records, writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to make a separate representation to opposite party no.2 i.e. Collector, Azamgarh within a period of four weeks from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order in respect to their grievances which they have raised in the present writ petition annexing all relevant documents and materials in support of their case and after receiving the same, O.P. No.2 shall consider and dispose of by way of speaking and reasoned order in accordance with law within a further period of eight weeks thereafter and communicate to them.
