JUDGMENT / ORDER

Hon'ble Yashwant Varma,J.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for the State - respondents.
This petition seeks restoration of services of the petitioner as a driver in the Department of the respondents. Petitioner stands convicted in a criminal case, which, presently, forms subject matter of consideration in Criminal Appeal No. 5306 of 2007. In the said appeal, although realization of 50% of the fine has been stayed, undisputedly, there is no stay of the order of conviction.
Consequently, the prayer for reinstatement is misconceived. The writ petition, consequently, stands dismissed.
