Sri Abhishek Bose holding brief of Sri Amit Bose, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Hon'ble Court in writ petition no.266 of 2012 (SS) has passed an order on 30.04.2012. The operative portion, on reproduction, reads as under:
"Accordingly, a writ in the nature of certiorari is issued quashing the impugned condition as contained in the Circular dated 22.12.2011 annexed as Annexure no.1 to the writ petition to the effect that only those candidates will be eligible for being sent to Training Course for Traffic Inspector who are less than 45 years of age as on 31.12.2012.
Further, a writ in the nature of mandamus is issued to the opposite parties to send the petitioners for Traffic Inspector Training Course as and when the same commences, if the petitioners are otherwise eligible for the same.
With the aforesaid observations and directions, the writ petition stands allowed. However, there will be no order as to cost."
Learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that there is no legal impediment and petitioners are fully eligible to attend the Training Course but the opposite parties are not considering the case of the petitioner inspite of numerous representations.
In view of above, I direct the opposite parties to implement the order dated 30.04.2012 passed by this Court within a period of two weeks, failing which they will have to appear in person before this Court to show cause as to why the contempt proceedings be not initiated against them for not complying the order passed by this Court.
The learned Standing Counsel shall ensure the compliance of this order.
In addition, learned counsel for the petitioner shall also inform the opposite party in writing, within a period of one week, about this order.
