The petitioner, who is defendant in Original Suit No.2285 of 2009, wants it to be decided expeditiously. According to him, the issues were framed in the suit long back in the year 2012, but since then, there has virtually been no progress in the trial.
Having regard to the facts of the case and the submissions made, the petition is disposed of by directing the trial court to make all endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously, without granting unnecessary adjournments to the parties.
