Grievance raised in this petition is with regard to payment of post retiral dues payable to petitioner. He has superannuated on 31.1.2020.
While entertaining the writ petition following order was passed on 2.12.2020:-
"Sri Pranjal Mehrotra, learned counsel for the contesting respondents seeks time to have instructions in the matter regarding non payment of post retirement dues to the petitioner who has retired on 31st January, 2020.
Put up this matter as fresh on 06th January, 2021."
Today, when the matter is taken up a statement is made on behalf of the respondents by their learned counsel that amount of gratuity has been credited to the account of petitioner today. A statement is further made that entire balance amount would be processed and paid within a period of four months by the respondents.
In view of the specific undertaking given on behalf of the respondents, this writ petition stands disposed of requiring the respondents to release entire balance retiral dues to the petitioner within a period of four months from today.
