This petition for writ is preferred to have a direction to the respondents to make payment of the amount to all the land owners whose name is recorded in the revenue records.
Learned Counsel appearing for the Gas Authority of India Limited submits that the Competent Officer of the Authority by a communication dated 17 April 2018 has called upon the petitioner and other similarly situated persons to appear before him and to make appropriate claim. Notice was served upon the petitioner on 22 April 2018. The petitioner may agitate his cause before the Competent Authority under the notice aforesaid.
In view of whatever stated above, we do not find any just reason to interfere in the matter at this stage. The petitioner must first respond the notice dated 17 April 2018.
The writ petition is dismissed.
