Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the Tehsildar to decide the restoration application dated 17.10.2018 in Case No. 268 of 1982-2018 (Sona Devi & others Vs. Ram Kishun & another) under Section 34 of U.P. Land Revenue Act expeditiously, within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
It is stated that a restoration application filed by the petitioner against an order passed in favour of the opposite parties in proceedings under Section 34 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act is pending consideration since October, 2018.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2/Tehsildar, Tehsil Soraon, District Prayagraj (Allahabad) to decide the restoration application as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
