Heard the counsel for the petitioners.
The present writ petition has been filed against the orders dated 11.1.2019, 5.9.2016 and 23.4.2016 passed by the Deputy Director of Consolidation, the Settlement Officer of Consolidation and the Consolidation Officer arising out of objections filed by respondent no. 4 under Section 20 of the Uttar Pradesh Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 regarding allotment of chaks.
A reading of the impugned orders shows that through the order dated 23.4.2016, the Consolidation Officer has allotted chaks both to the petitioners and respondent no. 4 on their original holdings and has tried to balance the equities in the case. The orders passed by the consolidation authorities do not violate any of the principles enumerated in Section 19 of the Uttar Pradesh Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953.
The writ petition lacks merit and is dismissed.
