1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of petitioner.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:
"(i) issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to pay the revised pay scale of Rs. 380-492 grade from the year 1979.
(ii) issue a writ of mandamus commanding/ directing to respondents to decide petitioner's representation dt. 2.7.92 and 30.3.2001 within a period of one month with a reasoned order on merits.
(iii) issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay to petitioner interest at the rate of 18% interest towards the arrear of salary.
(iv) issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent to pay difference of salary of old pay scale and new pay scale and that which the petitioner was entitled to be paid on account of fixation pay in new pay scale with effect from 1.1.96 to till today."
3. However, I have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioner is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
6. Sri U.S. Singh Bisen, Advocate is present for respondents.
