Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned Standing Counsel.
The applicant is before this Court for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondents for disobeying the order dated 18.05.2018 passed in PIL No.3529 of 2018 (Ram Khelawan v. State of U.P. & Ors.).
On the matter being taken up today, an affidavit of compliance has been filed by Shri Sanjay Kumar Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel intimating that the aforesaid order has been complied with and the proceeding under Section 67 of U.P. Revenue Code 2006 has been initiated against the erring incumbents. The said affidavit of compliance be taken on record.
In view of above, nothing further survives on this application and the same stands disposed of. Notices, if any, stand discharged. Needless to say that the said proceeding shall be finalized on its own merit expeditiously.
