The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents revenue authorities to remove the alleged encroachments made over Plot No. 460, which the petitioner alleges to be Gaon Sabha property.
By order dated 06.08.2018 passed by this Court, the Standing Counsel was directed to seek instructions in the matter. Standing Counsel has handed over a copy of the instructions received by him, which is taken on record. On the basis of instructions received by the Standing Counsel, it has been stated that encroachments over the aforesaid plot were removed on 25.07.2018. The possession memo as well as photographic evidence in support of the aforesaid statements has also been annexed with the instructions.
In view of the aforesaid, cause of action for filing the present writ petition does not survive.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is dismissed.
