Sole relief claimed in this petition is a mandamus to command the respondent authorities to decide the representation dated 15.11.2017 (annexure no. 1 to the writ petition) of the petitioner.
A perusal of the same goes to show that the petitioner made a representation to the District Magistrate alleging that Sohan Lal and Baliraj sons of Shi Baran are forcibly trying to take possession over the 'bhumidhari' land of the petitioner and thus, there is a private dispute over the property between the petitioner and the above named persons.
It is well settled that administrative authorities have no right to interfere in a civil dispute pertaining to the property and thus, no mandamus can be issued.
Writ petition stands dismissed leaving it open to the petitioner to avail the remedy under the general civil law if so advised.
