This petition for writ said to be filed in public interest is before us to consider the claim of the petitioner as follows:-
"(i). Issue a writ or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding to the respondents authorities to redress the grievances of the petitioners and not to the approve and release the fund in pursuant to the proposal dated 02.09.2018 passed by respondent no.6 & 7 for construction of Primary Pathshala in Village Mai Kharagpur during the pendency of the writ petition in the interest of justice;
(ii). Issue a writ or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to the respondent authorities may be directed to initiate an enquiry with regard to so called proposal dated 02.09.2018 said to be passed by respondent no.6 & 7 for Primary Pathshala Mai Kharagpur, on account no-compliance of formalities of corum during pendency of writ petition."
From perusal of the facts stated in the petition for writ, it is apparent that whatever steps have been taken by the respondent-Authorities being members of the Gramsabha, it appears that as a matter of fact it referred to the petitioners is nothing but to interference in public work. No public interest at all involved in this petition.
The writ petition, hence is dismissed.
