Sri Ram Raj Pandey, Advocate, has filed his vakalatnama on behalf of the respondent no. 5, is taken on record.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned AGA for the State and perused the record.
The petitioners are 12 in numbers of all the age groups who are said to have been in illegal captivity of respondent no. 5 who is brick kiln owner and they have made all the petitioners as bonded labourer and has taken work from them in a most inhumane condition. It is really an alarming situation where even today, a considerable amount of population have been made bonded labour by respondent no. 5 per force.
This Court hope and trust that Superintendent of Police, Baghpat would personally monitor and supervise in this case and would make in-depth probe into the matter. If it is correct, then what action is taken by him for the redressal of grievance and action against erring persons. All these detailed report and action taken/proposed to be taken, would be furnished by means of counter affidavit sworn by Superintendent of Police, Baghpat himself.
List this case on 28.01.2019 along with the report/counter affidavit before appropriate Court.
