JUDGMENT / ORDER

Hon'ble Yogendra Kumar Sangal,J.
Writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been preferred on the ground that petitioner shall attain the age of superannuation in next six months and he is entitled to continue at the present place of posting.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that government order dated 15.5.2008 (Annexure-2) to the writ petition provides that Government employee who is likely to attain the age of superannuation within two years is entitled to continue at the present place of posting as per his or her choice. Petitioner has already submitted a representation to ventilate his grievance with liberty to submit afresh representation.
In view of above, Principal Secretary (Appointment) is directed to consider and decide the petitioner's representation in accordance with law by passing a speaking and reasoned order expeditiously and preferably within a period of one month as well keeping in view the government circular dated 15.5.2008 and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
For the period of one month or till representation is decided, status-quo as exists today shall be maintained.
Subject to above, writ petition is disposed of finally.
