Heard Sri Mahendra Kumar Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking a direction to the respondents to complete the work of Chak road of Khasra no. 787, area 0.1460 hectare, Khasra no. 834, area 0.0230 hectare, Khasra no. 867 area 0.0610 hectare and Khasra no. 863 area 0.4690 hectare, which is shown as Navin Parti, situated in Village Jagdishpur, Dhanpur, Pargana Kewai, Tehsil Handia, District Allahabad. The relevant extract of the revenue record has been filed as Annexure-1 to the writ petition.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending.
This writ petition is therefore, disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.1-District Magistrate, Allahabad to enquire into the matter and take appropriate action, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order in his office.
It is made clear that the court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merit.
