The only prayer made in the present writ petition was for fair investigation. Vide earlier order dated 12.12.2018, Learned AGA was directed to seek instructions. Today when the case has been taken up a short counter affidavit has been filed by the State. The same has been duly perused. Sri Mohammad Nadeem, learned AGA appearing for the State informed the Court that after completing the investigation the police has submitted the final report, dated 15.11.2018 as has been mentioned in paragraph no. 5 of the short counter affidavit.
In view of the aforesaid facts the writ petition has become infructuous. Learned counsel for the petitioner is at liberty to seek appropriate remedy before appropriate forum and accordingly the petition is dismissed as infructuous.
