Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State respondent nos.1 and 2 and Shri A.K. Yadav, learned counsel appearing for respondent nos.3 and 4.
Notice need not be issued to the private respondent no.5, in view of the order proposed to be passed.
The petitioner is before this Court with request to issue direction to the respondent nos.3 and 4 to ensure payment of admissible amount alongwith interest to him and to accord the benefit of revised pay scale and pension to him after counting 32 years and 7 months of his service in place of 26 years' of his service.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has already filed a representation dated 23.2.2018 before the respondent nos.3 and 4 for redressal of his grievance, which is still pending. He has confined his prayer only to the relief that his representation dated 23.2.2018 may be considered by the appropriate authority.
Shri A.K. Yadav, learned counsel for the respondent nos.3 and 4 has no objection to the said prayer.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending.
In view of above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and considering the facts and circumstances of the case and with the consent of parties, this writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the Competent Authority to look into the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate order on his representation in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
