1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of petitioners.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioners have sought the following reliefs:
“I) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned dated 7/9.5.2002 passed by the respondent No.3 (Annexure-7 to the writ petition).
II) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to interfere in the functioning of the petitioners as Assistant Teacher in L.T. Grade in Intermediate college Kanchousi Bazar, District Auraiya and to pay him regular monthly salary month by month on the said post in as much as arrears of salary with effect from 19.01.1999 till date within the period specified by this Hon'ble Court.”
3. However, I have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioners are not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioners have lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioners is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
