The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for a writ of mandamus directing the Consolidation Officer, Lalganj, Mirzapur, i.e., respondent No. 1 to decide Suit No. 19 (Old Case No. 285 of 2013-14) (Triveni Prasad Vs. Amar Nath and Others filed under Section 9-A(2) of the Uttar Pradesh Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953.
Without entering into the merits of the case, the Consolidation Officer, Lalganj, Mirzapur, i.e., respondent No. 1 is directed to decide the aforesaid case within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him after hearing the concerned parties in case there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid case.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
