Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Petitioner retired from the post of Kanoongo in July 2018. Grievance of the petitioner is that the similar situated persons who retired were receiving higher salary, whereas, petitioner was receiving lessor salary, consequently, it has affected the petitioner's pensionary benefits. Petitioner has approached the second respondent, District Magistrate, Prayagraj, by filing a representation which is pending consideration.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the second respondent shall pass appropriate order on the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law.
In regard thereto, without entering into the merit of the case, as well as, rival contentions raised by the respective parties, it is provided that the second respondent, District Magistrate, Prayagraj, shall consider and decide the grievance of the petitioner, by a reasoned and speaking order, expeditiously, preferably, within four months from the date of filing of certified copy of this order along with the copy of the writ petition.
With the aforementioned observations/directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
