Ram Bahadur vs Anil Kumar Singh Bisen Consolidation Officer

High Court Of Judicature at Allahabad|27 March, 2018
|

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 59
Case :- CONTEMPT APPLICATION (CIVIL) No. - 1561 of 2018 Applicant :- Ram Bahadur Opposite Party :- Anil Kumar Singh Bisen Consolidation Officer Counsel for Applicant :- Satyendra Narayan Singh,Satya Prakash Singh
Hon'ble Yashwant Varma,J.
Heard learned counsel for the applicant.
This petition alleges disobedience of an order dated 27 September 2015 directing the Consolidation Officer to decide the objections expeditiously.
A perusal of the order sheet indicates that on as many as 37 occasions, the disposal was fettered on account of lawyers abstaining from work. On this being the state of record, this Court finds no ground to initiate proceedings in contempt. This petition is therefore disposed of with the only observation that the Consolidation Officer shall move in the matter with expedition and without granting any unnecessary adjournments.
Order Date :- 27.3.2018 nethra
